These guys are common mammals you might see while diving, depending on where you are. Dolphins are common in the Bahamas, the Florida Keys, and Roatan, Honduras — at least that’s where we have spotted them. We have been diving around Sea Lions in the cold waters off the California coast and in the Cortez Sea off the coast of Baja California Sur. In the Galápagpos Islands, we saws hundreds of Sea Lions on land and while snorkeling. They are playful with each other and with humans.
